The scholarships are available for postgraduate study in any subject at the University of Liverpool. This includes master’s degrees, PhDs, and research degrees.
Number of Awards
The University of Liverpool offers two Marshall Scholarships every year, one for US citizens and the other for Indian citizens. In total, about 40 scholarships are awarded across the UK to outstanding students from the US and 25 to students from India.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Marshall Scholarships,
- Applicants must be citizens of the US or India,
- Have a GPA of at least 3.7 or equivalent, and hold an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.
- They must also demonstrate a strong academic record and leadership potential, as well as the desire to study and/or work in the UK after graduation.

Application Instructions
First, applicants must apply for admission to a postgraduate program at the University of Liverpool. Once they have received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission, they can apply for the Marshall Scholarships through the Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission website.
