Scholarship Value/Inclusions
The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the duration of the recipient’s undergraduate degree, as well as a laptop to support their studies. In addition, the scholarship also includes a $5,000 per year living allowance to assist with the costs of university life.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Unitywater’s Bright Future Scholarship,
- Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
- They must also be enrolled or intending to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
- Applicants must have also achieved a minimum ATAR score of 74 or an equivalent grade in their previous studies.

Application Instructions
Applications for the scholarship are open from October to November each year. To apply, students must complete an online application form, which includes providing academic transcripts, a personal statement, and references from a teacher or community leader. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview, and successful applicants will be notified in December.
