Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the UCL GREAT Scholarships, students must meet the following criteria:
- Candidates must be passport holders and residents of Egypt, France, India and Kenya (Science and Technology).
- Candidates from Egypt, France and India must have made an application to study any full-time Master’s degree in any faculty at UCL in 2025/26 in order to apply for the scholarship.
- Candidates from Kenya can apply for the GREAT Science and Technology Scholarship. You must have made an application to study a Masters degree in one of the following faculties only: Brain Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Life Sciences, Maths and Physical Sciences, Medical Sciences and Population Health Sciences.
- Please note you must hold an offer of a place on your chosen Masters at UCL by the scholarship closing date of Thursday 8th May 2025.
- Distance learning and mod flex courses are not eligible.

Application Instructions
To apply for the UCL GREAT Scholarships, students must first apply to a one-year, full-time master’s program at UCL and receive an offer of admission. Once they have received an offer, they can apply for the scholarship through the UCL online scholarship application system.
