Scholarship Value/Inclusions

In addition, they will also receive a one-time $2,500 stipend for a study abroad experience. This generous scholarship is renewable for up to four years, as long as students maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Show-Me Scholars program, students must meet the following requirements:

  • High school seniors applying for admission to the University of Missouri – Columbia
  • Minimum ACT score of 30 or SAT score of 1330 (combined evidence-based reading and writing and math) or top 3% of class rank
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and involvement in extracurricular activities
  • Have a record of community service and volunteer work

Application Instructions

Students must first apply for admission to the University of Missouri – Columbia by December 1 and indicate their interest in the Show-Me Scholars program. Selected applicants will then be invited to submit an online application, which includes:

– Official high school transcripts
– ACT or SAT scores
– Personal statement
– Resume highlighting leadership and community involvement
– Two letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors, or community leaders

The deadline to submit the online application is December 15. Selected applicants will be notified in mid-February.
