Brief Description

The Serbia – Study/Research Stay for University Students and PhD Students Scholarship is a fully-funded program offered by the Slovak Academic Information Agency for foreign students and researchers to study and conduct research in Serbia.

The scholarship is hosted by the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development in collaboration with the Slovak Academic Information Agency.

Level/Field of Study

The scholarship is open to university students and PhD candidates in all fields of study.

Number of Awards

The scholarship offers 10 grants for university students and 3 grants for PhD candidates each year.

Target Group

The scholarship is open to international students and researchers from all countries, except for citizens of Serbia.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The scholarship covers travel expenses, insurance, accommodation, and a monthly stipend of 350 euros for university students and 500 euros for PhD candidates. The duration of the scholarship is one academic year for university students and six months for PhD candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship,

• Applicants must have a good academic record.
• A letter of acceptance from a Serbian higher education institution or research organization,.
• A sufficient knowledge of the Serbian language.
• They must also be under the age of 35 for university students and 40 for PhD candidates.

Application Instructions
