The Scholarship for Overseas Students Admitted through Recommendation by High Schools was established by NTU, considered one of the top universities in Asia, to promote academic exchange and international cooperation. It aims to attract outstanding international students who have been enrolled in high schools recommended by NTU to study at the university and experience the vibrant culture and excellent education system of Taiwan.

Eligibility Criteria

2. Foreign nationals from countries or regions with diplomatic or official relations with Taiwan, or from high schools recommended by NTU.
3. Enrolled full-time in any undergraduate or graduate program at NTU.

5. Not a recipient of any other scholarships or subsidies from any other government agencies in Taiwan.

Application Instructions
Interested students can apply for the scholarship through the Office of International Affairs of NTU. The application period is usually between March and May every year. Applicants are required to submit the following documents:
1. Completed application form.
2. Official high school transcripts.
3. Recommendation letter from the high school principal.
4. Letter of acceptance from NTU.
5. Proof of English proficiency.
6. A personal statement and study plan.
