Brief Description

The Romania – Summer School of Slovak Language and Culture Scholarship is an initiative by the Slovak Academic Information Agency (SAIA) to promote Slovak language and culture abroad. The Romania – Summer School of Slovak Language and Culture Scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students from all fields of study. Number of Awards

The SAIA offers 12 scholarships for the Romania – Summer School of Slovak Language and Culture program every year.

Target Group

The scholarship is open to students from any country outside the European Union who are interested in Slovak language and culture. It is also open to foreign students currently studying at a Slovak university.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The scholarship covers the cost of the summer school program, including tuition, study materials, and accommodation. Additionally, SAIA provides a monthly stipend of 350 EUR to cover living expenses and travel insurance.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must hold a valid passport from a non-EU country.
  • Must be a current university student at the time of application.
  • Must have a basic understanding of the Slovak language.
  • Must be interested in Slovak language and culture.
  • Must be in good academic standing.
