The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, and a monthly stipend of NT$5,000 for undergraduate students and NT$6,000 for graduate students. Additionally, doctoral students will receive NT$9,000 per month. Recipients will also receive a one-time research or activity allowance of NT$10,000.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. Must be of overseas Chinese descent with at least one parent or grandparent who holds Republic of China (Taiwan) nationality.
2. Must have resided in a foreign country for at least 6 years and hold citizenship or permanent residency of that country.
3. Must have a good academic record and be in good physical and mental health.
4. Must have a minimum score of TOEFL 500 or IELTS 5.5 (for non-native English speakers).
