Singaporean students looking to pursue higher education can avail the MOE-AU Scholarship by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in collaboration with top Australian universities.

Host Institution(s)

The scholarship can be utilized at six partnering universities in Australia: the Australian National University, University of Melbourne, University of Queensland, University of Sydney, University of Western Australia, and University of New South Wales.

The MOE-AU Scholarship is available for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in various fields such as business, engineering, humanities, and sciences.

Number of Awards

Each year, the MOE offers up to 100 scholarships for Singaporean students to study in Australia.

Target Group

The scholarship is exclusively open to Singaporean citizens who have completed their A-levels or polytechnic diploma studies.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The MOE-AU Scholarship offers a full-tuition fee waiver for the entire duration of the program, as well as a living allowance of A$6,000 per year. Students will also receive a one-time settling-in allowance, airfare to and from Australia, and a one-time book and computer allowance.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be Singaporean citizens with an excellent academic record and possess good character and leadership qualities.
• They should also have strong English proficiency.
• Meet the admission requirements of the chosen university and program.

Application Instructions

Interested students can apply for the MOE-AU Scholarship through the MOE website or directly to the participating universities. The application period is from February to March every year, and applicants will be notified of the outcome by July. Shortlisted candidates will undergo interviews and assessments before the final selection.
