Rabbani Scholarship is available for students who wish to pursue a Master’s degree in any of the following fields: Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Communication Science, Computer Science, Construction Management and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Human Media Interaction, Industrial Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Mechanical Engineering, Nanotechnology, Philosophy of Science, Technology, and Society, Psychology, Public Administration, Sustainable Energy Technology, Systems and Control, and Water Technology.

Number of Awards

The scholarship program awards a total of five scholarships each year.

Target Group

This scholarship is open to international students from Arab countries that have diplomatic relations with the Netherlands, with a special focus on students from the Middle East and North Africa region.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The Mahmoud S. Rabbani Scholarship covers the full tuition fee, monthly allowance for living expenses, and health insurance. It also includes a budget for visa and residence permit costs, expenses for travels from and to The Netherlands, and a contribution to research costs.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a student from an Arab country with diplomatic relations with the Netherlands
• Have an excellent academic record
• Have been admitted to one of the eligible Master’s programs at UT
• Have a strong motivation to contribute to the development of their home country
• Must not have studied or worked in the Netherlands before

Application Instructions

The application process for the Mahmoud S. Rabbani Scholarship is as follows:
