Brief Description

The DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) is offering fully-funded scholarships for master’s degree programs in Germany to students from Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Niger, and Senegal through the Leadership for Africa program.

Each year, approximately 55 students from Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Niger, and Senegal are awarded this scholarship.

The scholarship is targeted towards young professionals and recent graduates from Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Niger, and Senegal who have a strong interest in leadership and are looking to further their education in Germany.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The scholarship covers tuition fees, monthly living allowance, travel costs, health insurance, German language course, and study and research allowance. It also includes a mandatory six-month internship in Germany.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship,

  • Applicants must have a first class or second class upper division bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience.
  • Must be below the age of 36.
  • They must also prove their proficiency in English or German and demonstrate a strong interest in leadership.
