Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The scholarship covers tuition fees, on-campus accommodation, and a monthly living allowance of 2,500 Chinese Yuan (equivalent to approximately $370 USD). The scholarship also includes comprehensive medical insurance for the duration of the program.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship,

• Applicants must have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK (Chinese Language Proficiency Test) and a minimum score of 60 on the HSKK (Chinese Speaking Proficiency Test).
• They must also have a letter of recommendation from a Confucius Institute or a Chinese embassy.

Application Instructions

Interested applicants can apply through the Confucius Institute Scholarship website or directly to China University of Petroleum-Beijing. The application period is usually from March to May of each year, and successful candidates will be notified in July.
