Recipients of the International Merit Scholarship will receive a $5,000 – $10,000 award per academic year for up to four years, depending on the qualifications and financial need of the student. This scholarship can be used towards tuition, fees, and living expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship,
- Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, ACT score of 24 or higher (or equivalent SAT score), and must have applied for admission at the University of Missouri – Columbia.
- They must also be classified as an international student for tuition purposes and must maintain a good academic standing to renew the scholarship.

Application Instructions
To apply for the International Merit Scholarship, students must complete the general application for admission to the University of Missouri – Columbia by December 1st for the fall semester.
