Scholarship Value/Inclusions

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Humanities Scholars Program,
- Applicants must be incoming freshmen at UMBC with a minimum GPA of 3.4 and an SAT score of 1370 or ACT score of 29.
- They must also demonstrate a strong interest in the humanities and outstanding academic achievements.

Application Instructions
To apply for the Humanities Scholars Program, students must first apply for admission to UMBC. As part of their admission application, they will be required to submit an essay outlining their academic interests and achievements, as well as their commitment to the humanities and making a societal impact. Selected applicants will then be invited to submit additional materials, including a portfolio of their work in the humanities and letters of recommendation.
