Established in 1988, the Herbert L. and Lillian M. Curry Debate Award by Central Michigan University (CMU) recognizes outstanding student debaters who excel in competitive debate tournaments.

Target Group
The Herbert L. and Lillian M. Curry Debate Award is open to all undergraduate students at Central Michigan University who have competed in at least four debate tournaments during their time at the university.
Scholarship Value/Inclusions
Each recipient of the Herbert L. and Lillian M. Curry Debate Award receives a cash prize of $1,000. In addition, they are also eligible to receive a $500 scholarship for future debate participation at CMU.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be considered for the Herbert L. and Lillian M. Curry Debate Award,
- Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students at Central Michigan University who have participated in at least four debate tournaments during their time at the university.
- They must also possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Application Instructions
