Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Grace Larsen Sagendorf Scholarship,

  • Candidates must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.6 or be in the top 10% of their high school graduating class.
  • They must also demonstrate a strong commitment to community service, leadership potential, and a dedication to academic excellence.
  • Graduate students must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in their undergraduate program and display similar qualities.

Application Instructions

Interested applicants must submit their application for admission to Central Michigan University by December 1st to be considered for the Grace Larsen Sagendorf Scholarship. Additionally, they must complete the Scholarship Central application by the same deadline and submit the required essays and two letters of recommendation. The scholarship committee will then review the applications and select the finalists for an interview. Finalists will be notified by March 1st if they have been chosen as a recipient of the scholarship.
