Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Golden Door Scholarship,

• Students must be high school seniors or recent graduates who demonstrate financial need, academic excellence, and leadership potential.
• They must also be either immigrants themselves or children of immigrants with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), or Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS).

Application Instructions

Interested students can apply for the Golden Door Scholarship through the Common App or the Golden Door Scholars portal. The application requires students to submit their high school transcripts, standardized test scores, financial information, two letters of recommendation, and two short essays.
