The Global Black and Gold Level 2 Scholarship by the University of Missouri – Columbia aims to support exceptional students from all backgrounds in their pursuit of higher education. Level/Field of Study
The Global Black and Gold Level 2 Scholarship is available for undergraduate students in all fields of study offered at Mizzou. This includes programs in fields such as Business, Engineering, Journalism, Law, Medicine, and many more.
Number of Awards
Each year, the University of Missouri – Columbia awards 20 Black and Gold Level 2 Scholarships to exceptional international students.
Target Group
The scholarship is open to outstanding international students from all countries, who have completed at least one year of full-time study at an accredited university and have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
Scholarship Value/Inclusions
The Global Black and Gold Level 2 Scholarship covers full tuition, room and board, books and supplies, health insurance, and a stipend for personal expenses. It is a renewable scholarship for up to three additional years as long as the recipient maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Global Black and Gold Level 2 Scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
1. Must be an international student with F-1 or J-1 student visa status.
2. Must have completed at least one year of full-time study at an accredited university.
3. Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
4. Must demonstrate strong leadership skills and community involvement.
5. Must show financial need.

Application Instructions
Interested candidates are required to submit an online application, along with the following documents:
1. High school and college transcripts.
2. ACT or SAT scores.
3. Three letters of recommendation.
4. Personal statement.
5. Resume.
6. Financial aid form for international students.
The application deadline is December 15th, for the fall semester. Applicants are also required to complete the General Scholarship Application on the Mizzou Scholarship Application System.
