Scholarship Value/Inclusions
Recipients of the Fred J. Ericson Memorial Endowed Scholarship will receive a total of $2,500 per academic year, renewable for up to four years. In addition to financial assistance, this scholarship also provides recipients with unique leadership development opportunities, mentorship programs, and access to EMU’s prestigious honors community.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Fred J. Ericson Memorial Endowed Scholarship,
- Applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.5.
- Demonstrate strong leadership potential through their extracurricular activities, community involvement, and academic achievements.
- Applicants must also be accepted or currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Eastern Michigan University.

Application Instructions
To apply for this scholarship, students must complete and submit the EMU online scholarship application, along with a personal statement, two letters of recommendation, and any supporting documents. The application deadline is March 1st, and recipients will be notified by the end of April.
