Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The Distinguished Leaders Scholarship covers the full cost of tuition, room, and board for four years of undergraduate study at EMU. In addition, recipients will also receive a $1,500 stipend per year for books, supplies, and other educational expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Distinguished Leaders Scholarship,

• Applicants must have a high school GPA of 3.5 or above, a minimum ACT score of 26, and be actively involved in leadership roles in their community or school.
• They must also submit a personal essay and letters of recommendation.

Application Instructions

To apply for the Distinguished Leaders Scholarship, students must complete the EMU Undergraduate Application for Admission and submit all required application materials by the December 1st deadline. A separate scholarship application form is not required. Recipients will be notified about the scholarship award in their acceptance letter from EMU.
