Additionally, it provides a living allowance of CNY 3,000/month for Masters students and CNY 3,500/month for PhD students. The scholarship also covers a one-time settlement subsidy of CNY 1,500 and a one-time flight subsidy of CNY 2,000.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the CSC-CUP scholarship at UESTC,
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, hold a bachelor’s degree for Masters programs or a master’s degree for PhD programs.
- Meet the academic requirements of the program they are applying for.
- They must also have a good command of the Chinese language for programs taught in Chinese and English proficiency for programs taught in English.

Application Instructions
Applications for the CSC-CUP scholarship should be submitted through the Chinese Government Scholarship Online Application System. Interested applicants must also apply to UESTC for admission and submit all the required documents.
