Additionally, it provides a living allowance of CNY 3,000/month for Masters students and CNY 3,500/month for PhD students. The scholarship also covers a one-time settlement subsidy of CNY 1,500 and a one-time flight subsidy of CNY 2,000.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the CSC-CUP scholarship at UESTC,

• Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, hold a bachelor’s degree for Masters programs or a master’s degree for PhD programs.
• Meet the academic requirements of the program they are applying for.
• They must also have a good command of the Chinese language for programs taught in Chinese and English proficiency for programs taught in English.

Application Instructions

Applications for the CSC-CUP scholarship should be submitted through the Chinese Government Scholarship Online Application System. Interested applicants must also apply to UESTC for admission and submit all the required documents. The application deadline is usually in March of each year, and the admission decision is announced in June.
