The Ocean Country Partnership Programme (OCPP) Scholarships, created by The Association of Commonwealth Universities, aim to support students from 17 coastal Commonwealth countries in their pursuit of higher education. This program seeks to foster sustainable development and promote conservation of ocean resources through education and research.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The OCPP Scholarships cover full tuition fees, return airfare to the UK, monthly stipend, and research expenses. The scholarship also provides a grant for research-related fieldwork and conferences.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be citizens of one of the 17 eligible countries and must hold a first or upper second-class honours Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • They must also have admission or a formal offer to study a Master’s or PhD program at one of the 12 participating universities.

Application Instructions

Candidates must apply directly to the participating university of their choice.
