The Louis Levine Scholarship is available for undergraduate studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Students can pursue a degree in any field of study offered by the university, including Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Business and Law, Agriculture, and Medicine.
Number of Awards
The scholarship program offers multiple awards annually, with a minimum of two scholarships to be awarded each year.
Target Group
Only students from the United States are eligible for the Louis Levine Scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited university in the U.S. and have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
Scholarship Value/Inclusions
Each scholarship recipient will receive a generous tuition waiver for up to two years of undergraduate studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, equivalent to approximately $6,000 per year. In addition, the Louis Levine Scholarship also offers recipients with a living allowance of $9,000 per year.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Louis Levine Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies at an accredited university in the U.S.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
- Demonstrate a strong desire to study at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a commitment to promoting academic and cultural exchange between the U.S. and Israel.
- Submit a well-written essay explaining their motivation for studying at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and how it will contribute to their personal and academic development.

Application Instructions
