Brief Description

The Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) by Seoul National University offers international students the chance to pursue their dreams of studying in South Korea’s prestigious institutions. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the KGSP scholarship,

• Applicants must be non-Korean citizens with a high school degree for undergraduate programs or a bachelor’s degree for graduate programs.
• They must also have a good academic standing and be under the age of 25 for undergraduate programs and 40 for graduate programs.
• Additionally, candidates should not have Korean citizenship and must not have previously enrolled in a Korean university.

Application Instructions

Applicants must apply via the designated Korean Embassy or Consulate in their home country. The application period is usually open between September and October for the following academic year. After the first round of screening, applicants who pass will be interviewed by SNU’s admission committee.
