The John A. Rogers Award in Leadership was established in honor of John A. Rogers, a distinguished University of Toronto alumnus and former President and CEO of the North American Life Assurance Company. This award recognizes students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to making a difference in their communities.

Each year, five exceptional students are selected to receive the John A. Rogers Award in Leadership.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The award provides each recipient with $5,000 to help cover their tuition costs at the University of Toronto. In addition, recipients will have access to exclusive leadership development opportunities, such as workshops and conferences, to enhance their leadership skills and networks.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the award,

• Candidates must be enrolled in any undergraduate program at the St. George campus of U of T and have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
• They must also demonstrate strong leadership experience and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities.
• International students must also have a valid student visa to study in Canada.

Application Instructions
