Each year, eight awards of $15,000 are granted to exceptional students who meet the eligibility criteria. These awards are renewable for up to four years, providing a total of $60,000 towards the recipient’s undergraduate studies.

The Joan & Douglas MacMaster University Award is open to all incoming undergraduate students, regardless of nationality or citizenship. Applicants must be high school graduates who are planning on enrolling in a full-time program at StFX.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The award provides successful recipients with $15,000 per year, which is renewable for up to four years. This amount is applicable to tuition fees and is disbursed on a yearly basis. An additional $10,000 is available for recipients who wish to participate in StFX’s International Mobility Program, providing students with the opportunity to study abroad at one of StFX’s partner universities.

Application Instructions

To apply for the Joan & Douglas MacMaster University Award, applicants must first submit an application for admission to StFX. Applicants will also be automatically considered for other StFX scholarships if they meet the eligibility criteria.
