Brief Description

The Oxford-Thatcher Graduate Scholarships were established in honor of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to support exceptional students pursuing graduate studies at the University of Oxford.

Each year, a total of 10 scholarships are awarded, divided equally among the four divisions of the University – Humanities, Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences.

The scholarship is open to international students from any country except the United Kingdom, European Union, and European Economic Area. It is also open to students from the British Overseas Territories, British Crown Dependencies, or British Overseas Territories.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions

Recipients of the Oxford-Thatcher Graduate Scholarship will receive full tuition fees, a maintenance stipend, and also a partial grant towards travel expenses for conferences or research.
