Level/Field of Study

The International Student Scholarships are available to both undergraduate and postgraduate studies in any field offered by Canterbury Christ Church University.

Number of Awards

Each academic year, 10 scholarships will be awarded to outstanding international students. These scholarships will cover a part of the tuition fees for the duration of the program, either for one year (2022/23) or two years (2023/24).

Target Group

The scholarships are open to students from all countries outside of the United Kingdom/European Union. Applicants must be self-funded and not recipients of any other scholarships.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The International Student Scholarships will cover a part of the tuition fees, with a value ranging from £1,000 to £5,000. For students starting their studies in 2022/23, the scholarship will be applied as a one-time fee reduction. For students starting in 2023/24, the scholarship will be divided between the two years of study.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the International Student Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Be an international student from any country outside of the United Kingdom/European Union.
2. Be self-funded, not receiving any financial support from any other scholarships or funding.
3. Hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate program at Canterbury Christ Church University.
4. Meet the academic and English language requirements for the chosen program of study.

Application Instructions

For the academic year 2022/23, eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship when they receive a full-time offer to study at Canterbury Christ Church University. However, for the academic year 2023/24, an online application form will be available on the official website of the university.

Applicants must submit relevant supporting documents, including transcripts, a personal statement, and a reference letter, along with their application.
