Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The Global Scholarship covers the full cost of tuition for up to four years of undergraduate study or two years of graduate study at WPI. In addition to tuition, the scholarship also includes a generous stipend to cover living expenses and a one-time travel allowance for the cost of one round-trip ticket from the student’s home country to WPI.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Global Scholarship,

• Applicants must be international students with no U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
• They must also have a strong academic record, including a high GPA and excellent standardized test scores.
• Applicants must also demonstrate financial need, leadership potential, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their home country.

Application Instructions

To apply for the Global Scholarship, students must submit an online application through the WPI admissions portal. Along with the general admissions requirements, applicants must also submit an additional essay explaining why they are the ideal candidate for the scholarship and how they plan to use their education to make a difference in their home country. Finalists will be invited to a virtual interview with the scholarship committee.
