Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship,

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student at Central Michigan University.
  • They must also have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Show a strong interest and involvement in debate.

Application Instructions

To apply for the Eugene C. Chenoweth Debate Award, students must submit a completed application form, official high school or college transcripts, a resume, and a 500-word personal statement outlining why they should be considered for the scholarship.
