Brief Description

The Gender Equality Scholarship Law at RUB was established in 2017 with the aim of addressing gender imbalances in higher education. The scholarship is a means to encourage and support academic excellence and diversity within the university.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The scholarship covers tuition fees and provides a monthly stipend of 600 EUR for Bachelor’s and Master’s students and 1,000 EUR for PhD students. Additionally, recipients are eligible for a housing allowance and travel costs within Germany.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Gender Equality Scholarship, applicants must be enrolled or have been accepted to study at RUB and meet the following criteria:
