The Christy Rishoi Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Paper is an annual scholarship program that recognizes and rewards outstanding undergraduate students at Eastern Michigan University for their exceptional academic achievements. This award is given in memory of Christy Rishoi, a dedicated student and scholar who passed away tragically in 2007.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Christy Rishoi Award,

• Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students at Eastern Michigan University.
• With a minimum GPA of 3.5.
• They must also have completed at least 60 credit hours and have a strong academic record.
• Applicants are required to submit an original research paper of at least 15 pages on any topic related to their field of study.

Application Instructions

All applicants must submit their original research paper, along with a personal statement and a letter of recommendation from a faculty member, to the Office of Honors College at Eastern Michigan University. The paper must be submitted in digital format and must adhere to the required formatting guidelines. The deadline for submissions is March 1st of each year.
