Brief Description

The UWE Alumni Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship program offered by the University of the West of England, Bristol to financially support its alumni to pursue further studies at the university. It aims to promote academic excellence and foster a strong alumni community at UWE Bristol.

The scholarship is available for all undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered at UWE Bristol, with the exception of BPTC, LPC, GDL, MSc Robotics, MSc Nursing, ResM, and professional development courses.

Number of Awards

The UWE Alumni Scholarship offers a total of 20 awards annually – 10 for undergraduate students and 10 for postgraduate students.

Target Group

The scholarship is open to all alumni of UWE Bristol who have successfully completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the university.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The UWE Alumni Scholarship covers tuition fees up to a maximum of £2,000 for one academic year. The amount is then applied to the recipient’s tuition fees in installments throughout the year. In addition to financial aid, the scholarship also provides access to various career and development opportunities, networking events, and a chance to be part of the UWE Bristol alumni community.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the UWE Alumni Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be an alumnus/alumna of UWE Bristol, having successfully completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the university.
• Must be an international student, based on their fee status.
• Must hold an unconditional or conditional offer to study a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate program at UWE Bristol.
• Must be self-funding their studies.
• Must not be in receipt of any other scholarship or financial support.

Application Instructions

To apply for the UWE Alumni Scholarship, applicants must complete the online application form, which can be found on the official website.
