The Sydney Scholars India Equity Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship program established by the University of Sydney. Scholarship Value/Inclusions

The scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fees for the duration of the recipient’s program, up to a maximum of four years for undergraduate programs and two years for postgraduate programs. It also includes a one-time allowance of AUD 8,362 for living expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Sydney Scholars India Equity Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be an Indian citizen and have completed their secondary education in India.
• Have an unconditional offer of admission or have already commenced their studies at the University of Sydney.
• Demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum ATAR of 95 or an equivalent result in their previous studies.
• Show leadership potential and active involvement in extracurricular activities or community service.
• Have a financial need for assistance in pursuing their studies.

Application Instructions

The applications for the Sydney Scholars India Equity Scholarship are open from early September to early January every year.
